Opus One Studios Releases New Single Holiday Carol in Multiple Genres

“A Carol for All Children” described as an ecumenical carol celebrating what we all have in common.

McLean, Virginia: December 17, 2018

Opus One Studios, publisher of creative products supporting worthy causes, announced today the release of its latest original music single, “A Carol for All Children.” Described as a carol for our times, the composition celebrates what we all have in common in an era when religious differences are the cause of tensions and even wars. The carol’s lyrics are by Alan Salisbury, with music by social activist and vocalist Whitney Parnell.

In an unusual move, “A Carol for All Children” is being released in multiple genres with different artists performing. These include a gospel version and a contemporary choral version, both performed by the In His Love singers under the direction of (and arrangement by) Charles Brown. A country/Americana track is performed by Whitney Parnell, with Emily Law providing guitar accompaniment and back-up vocal. Finally, a fourth track, described as “traditional” choral, was recorded live in-performance by the Kansas City-based“ Harmony Interfaith Choir, including an ensemble of children.

“A Carol for All Children will be available for digital download as well as streaming. A physical EP CD containing all four versions is also available. All tracks and the EP CD are available immediately at www.opusonestudios.com and will shortly be available from CD Baby as well. Additional distribution outlets will include iTunes, Amazon and other digital sources.

Choral arrangement sheet music is also available for download at www.opusonestudios.com. Purchase of the sheet music includes the right to reproduce as many copies as needed for a performing group.

As with all Opus One Studios products, all profits realized from “A Carol for All Children” will benefit a selected charity, in this case the Homeless Children’s Playtime Project (HCPP) in Washington DC. ALL streaming revenue from Carol will be donated to HCPP.
